You can tell the Commission about your community by writing or calling in, sharing a video, drawing a boundary map of your community, attending and testifying at public meetings, and by collaborating with your neighbors or community organizations as a group.
There is no wrong way to describe your community to the Commission, and we've outlined how you can share your story below. You may submit to the Commission at any time, in any language, in multiple formats, before or after District's outreach meeting.
Send us your comments and insights about your community and what makes it whole. You can do this in any language, and submit it by mail, email, phone, webform, or by recording and uploading a video.
Tell the Commissioners about the boundaries of your Community of Interest or comment on the existing Legislative and Congressional Districts with our community mapping tool. New mapping opportunities will be available when Complete 2020 Census data is published.
The Commission welcomes and encourages your input on all Commission matters. Attend your district's outreach meetings or a Commission business meeting online and sign up to provide live public testimony.
Work with your neighbors to gather and share your desired community boundaries, or join a community group and participate in the public feedback process together.
The Commission would like to sincerely thank the many thousands of residents in Washington state who took time to educate themselves and engage with the Commission over the last 10 months.
